🔐 Account Security
I forgot my PIN or Password. Can it be reset?
No. Torzon operates on a strictly non-custodial security model. We do not store your passwords in a readable format, and we do not have access to your account keys. If you lose your mnemonic phrase or password, your account and funds are lost forever. This policy is in place to prevent "social engineering" attacks where hackers pretend to be users to steal accounts.
Why is the 2FA message encrypted?
When you enable 2FA, the torzon login page will present a PGP-encrypted block. Only the owner of the private key associated with the account can decrypt this message to reveal the secret code. This ensures that even if a hacker steals your password, they cannot access your account without your private PGP key.
💸 Payments & Orders
My Monero (XMR) deposit is missing.
Monero is slower than Bitcoin but safer. A deposit requires 10 confirmations on the blockchain before it appears in your market balance. This typically takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on network congestion. Do not panic. If 24 hours pass, check your transaction ID on a block explorer (using Tor) and open a support ticket.
What is the difference between Escrow and Finalize Early (FE)?
Escrow: The market holds the funds. The vendor is only paid after you confirm you received the item. This is the safest method.
Finalize Early (FE): You release the funds to the vendor immediately after they mark the order as shipped. Only use FE for vendors with high trust ratings (Level 5+). If you FE and get scammed, support cannot help you.
A vendor asked me to pay directly outside the market.
THIS IS A SCAM. Never communicate or transact outside the torzon market system. Vendors asking for "Direct Deals" (DD) via Telegram or Jabber are trying to bypass the escrow system to steal your money. Report these vendors immediately.
